No new series for Cold Feet

The fourth series of Cold Feet will be its last, it was confirmed today.
The makers of the ITV drama have decided to end the show whilst on a high. Creator Mike Bullen told The Guardian that there was a danger that the show would go "stale" if it continued beyond a fourth series.
The show ended its current run on Tuesday evening, with an audience of nine million viewers. Such is the success of the show that ITV wanted to commission further episodes for broadecast on a weekly basis. "They wanted to turn it into a soap, really, but we didn't want it to go down that route," said one cast member.
