Canal Plus to sell Eurosport stake

French network Canal Plus is to sell of its stake in Eurosport and launch a rival channel.
The 49.5% stake, worth £170 million, is most likely to be acquired by French broadcaster TF1.
One media analyst said, "We are waiting for many things, but the market is not waiting for negative or marginal news like this."
