Chat show host Esther Rantzen has described Big Brother contestant 'Nasty' Nick Bateman as "cold" and "calculating" after he appeared on her BBC2 show.
According to the Daily Express, they had a backstage confrontation after filming for the episode had finished. Producers had planned to show a clip from the reality show in which Nick lied about having a French wife, tragically killed in a car crash. However Nick demanded that they drop the clip, or he would walk out.
"He began laying down the law in a very sharp manner," said Esther. "He will do whatever he feels he needs to do to further his own interests."
The episode airs today at 15.30 on BBC2.
