ITV wants more Paul O'Grady

ITV have asked Paul O'Grady to continue with his new teatime talkshow beyond its initial eight-week run, according to Broadcast today.
The series, which airs weekdays at 5pm, has delivered the channel's best ratings for the slot in years. It now regularly beats Channel 4's Richard and Judy by around 400,000 viewers.
O'Grady told the magazine that ITV are keen to keep the series on air through Christmas then bring it back gain next year, but added that he had not yet decided whether to sign up.
