Mustafa, who played Roland Browning in the BBC children's series between 1981 and 1987, is attempting to recruit celebrities, cast members and fans of the show for a party on October 8.
Tickets for the event are on sale from Mustafa's GrangeHillReunion.org website.
In a message on the website, he writes: "Hi my name is Erkan Mustafa and I used to play the role of Roland Browning in Grange Hill for six years from 1981-1987, some of the best times of my life!
"Well late last year I had been challenged by my fellow ex-cast member of Grange Hill to put a reunion night party for the ex-pupils and teachers from the show to celebrate the past 30 years. Never one to turn down a challenge, I started to work on putting the reunion together."
Mustafa has tracked down 30 former co-stars, including Lee McDonald who played Zammo, but he is asking fans to help him find more members of the old cast.
All money raised from the party will go to Cherry Lodge Cancer Care unit in London and a 5-year-old boy called Logan, who suffers from the neurological condition SMEI.
Mustafa's Grange Hill reunion will take place at the Sound club in London's Leicester Square.
Grange Hill ran for 30 years and the last episode aired in September 2008.
