Guest blames Kyle show for assault

Rebecca Langley, 23, was beaten by 26-year-old former partner Jamie Juste after both failed lie detector tests on their fidelity on the show, with Juste later being jailed for grievous bodily harm, the Daily Mail reports.
While announcing his verdict at Peterborough Crown Court, Judge Sean Enright said that the sentence would have been higher but for the involvement of the programme.
Langley said: "They say such things as: 'If Jeremy Kyle says anything you disagree with, you tell him straight.' They try to get you angry and wind you up.
"One of the counsellors spent five minutes with us, and said: 'Good luck, we're going to send you home now.' They then came in and gave us our tickets home. They don't care about you once you've been on the show."
She added: "I'd advise anyone thinking of appearing on the show to think of the consequences. What happened that day caused my injuries. I do blame the show for that."
In 2007, Judge Alan Berg described The Jeremy Kyle Show as a "human form of bear bating" while delivering his verdict in another assault case.
