Sky1 commissions new dance competition

The eight-part series will see hopefuls progress to a live final where the champion will be crowned by viewers.
Commissioning editor Duncan Gray said of the series: "Britain is a country obsessed with dancing. 4.8 million Britons regularly participate in dance classes and it's the country's fastest growing hobby.
"Just Dance will capture the public's imagination and appeal to dance enthusiasts of all ages."
Executive producer Karen Smith added: "Just Dance is throwing out the rule book. Everyone can compete in the competition, irrespective of age, style or combination of dancers.
"From ballet to break, bhangra to ballroom, salsa to sword, Irish, Scottish or English Country Dancing, whatever you do and whoever you do it with, we want to see you dance."
Production on the series is due to start immediately, with broadcast scheduled for early 2010.
