Klass, Sergeant, Jones for 'The One Show'

Myleene Klass, John Sergeant and Gethin Jones are among the celebrities confirmed as guest hosts for The One Show.

The trio will be joined by Gloria Hunniford when they take over the presenting duties from Christine Bleakley and Adrian Chiles later this month.

Hunniford and Jones take the helm from Monday, August 17 to Friday, August 21. They will be followed by Sergeant, who will join forces with Klass from Monday, August 24 to Friday, August 28.

Executive producer Tessa Finch commented: "We’re delighted to welcome four One Show favourites to stand in for Christine and Adrian while they're on holiday.

"The One Show has had a great summer and is gearing up for the autumn season with a brilliant lineup of stories from all around the UK and some extremely exciting projects for viewers to get involved with."

She added: "The new hour-long programmes are a great vote of confidence from the audience and the channel. Everyone on The One Show is looking forward to the challenge."

The series will feature an hour-long show - instead of the usual half-hour - every week from September until the end of the year.
