Caroline Quentin has landed two new drama roles for ITV following her success with The Innocent.
Blood Strangers is a four-part series that will see Quentin play a single mum whose daughter becomes involved in the world of prostitution. It will go into production in June, for transmission in the Autumn.
Hot Money features a group of Bank Of England workers who decide to siphon off some old banknotes. Shooting begins next month.
Nick Elliott, ITV controller of drama, said: "Caroline is someone who could be extremely useful to ITV. She is very good at playing very ordinary women."
