The businessman told thelondonpaper that there would be no doubt in his mind who he would save if he and the rest of the Dragons were caught up in an anti-capitalist riot.
Jones said: "Deborah, because I don't have much feelings for the other Dragons. I think Deborah is lovely. The fiery, grumpy Miss Meaden you see on TV in reality is vivacious, fun, chatty and great company.
"I would much rather be with her on a deserted island than any one of the other Dragons. Post-riot, I look forward to replacing them with three new and far better-looking Dragons too. An all-female panel beside me, which would be great."
He added that "there's definitely competition" between the Dragons for a good pitch and that "it's more painful if you lose an investment to Duncan [Bannatyne]".
"It's like: 'Crickey, how on earth can they choose Duncan over me?'" he joked.
