Collins: 'I don't watch Carr's shows'

Justin Lee Collins has revealed that he and his Sunday Night Project partner Alan Carr do not watch each other's TV shows.

The presenter told BBC Newsbeat that their stance mirrors the situation with his mother, who also avoids his programmes.

Collins said: "We have a thing where I think we both feel it's best we don't watch each other's work when we're not working together. For the sake possibly of our friendship, it's probably best if we don't.

"My mum does not watch me on television... My mum cannot watch it because she feels for me and gets nervous for me and feels embarrassed for me sometimes!"

He added: "She just can't bear to watch it and I think that's how both Al and I feel about watching each other's stuff when we're doing something on our own. It's like we're related or something, it's weird."
