He will be joined in the new run - scheduled to begin September 1 - by number of other This Morning newcomers, including designers Linda Barker and Danielle Proud, and gardeners Diarmuid Gavin and Sven Wombwell. Jason Gardiner will front the fashion content.
Chefs Gino D’Acampo, Jean Christophe Novelli, Rosemary Shrager, Chris Gates, Ed Baines, and Dean Edwards are also joining the ITV1 flagship show.
Eamonn Holmes, who will take over the presenting duties for the opening fortnight of the new run with his fiancée Ruth Langsford, commented: "It’s a great thrill for us to kick off the 21st anniversary year."
The new-look show will return to its regular slot of 10.30am - 12.30pm and will be fronted by Phillip Schofield and his new co-presenter Holly Willoughby from September 14.
