Coldwell and McLean compete with Sandra Dickinson and Phil Turner on the reality show, where celebrities attend and rate each other's weddings.
"It was a bit daunting turning up to people's weddings that you're not really invited to," Coldwell told DS. "But I got stuck in and got chatting to everyone. I did a few nutty things so I'm half tempted to watch it back actually - it should make good TV... I've never worn as many suits in my life - that was a new experience as well.
"A wedding is always cracking anyway, so to turn up to other famous people's, I thought it would be a great experience."
Speaking about his show rivals, the pop singer said: "Nicola's was more a footballer's wives, WAG wedding... She does speak her mind, but that's just her character.
"I think she was out to win and may have judged everyone else's wedding accordingly, rather than being truthful. But I still really enjoyed the experience and had a cracking time."
Four Weddings airs on Living on Monday, September 7 at 9pm.
