Published Wednesday, Sep 2 2009, 17:44 BST | By Dan French

The programme, presented by Nigel Gray, will look at the plague of patrons destroying small businesses by taking goods and services without paying for them. The show will also highlight the cost on the real families behind the firms who are dependent upon their bills being paid.
In the documentary, Gray goes on a quest to confront customers who owe some of the £38bn in overdue or unpaid bills to Britain's small companies and speaks to families about the devastating consequences they now face.
Cowboy Customers is due to air Tuesday, September 8 on ITV1.
