BBC recommissions 'Ready Steady Cook'

BBC Daytime controller Liam Keelan has additionally commissioned two new factual entertainment programmes for BBC Two and two new current affairs series for BBC One.
The Nadia Sawalha-fronted Indian Restaurant will focus on the talents of amateur cooks and is expected to arrive on BBC Two later this year, alongside Escape In Time, which sees hopefuls escape the modern world and spend a week on a Victorian farm.
Coming soon to BBC One are Face Britain, in which Dom Littlewood explores the multi-million pound counterfeit business in the UK, and Simon Rimmer-hosted The Food Fighters, a look at the unsavory secrets behind food.
Keelan commented of the new programmes: "Simon Rimmer and Dom Littlewood are the perfect hosts for our brand new consumer series on BBC One, which continue our history of producing strong issues-led programming."
