Apprentice star Kate Walsh has said that her boyfriend Philip Taylor may appear on her new Five show.

Speaking to DS at last night's TV Quick & TV Choice Awards, Walsh - this year's runner-up - said that she would like to recruit Taylor to the programme to discuss the new series of The Apprentice.

"I think if it comes round to Apprentice time again and we need a guest, I'd definitely like to get Philip on because we don't tend to have exactly the same opinions when it comes to what's a good idea," she said.

"I thought 'Pants Man' was awful! I can still hear him talking about it over my shoulder. It was dreadful!"

Addressing recent reports surrounding their relationship, Walsh also denied rumours that they have become engaged, suggesting that it is too soon to be thinking about marriage.

"I'm afraid the engagement rumour is just a rumour. No wedding bells at the minute - still a naked finger!" she said. "There's so much going on at the moment: we've just moved house, I'm starting a new job and it wouldn't be the right time to throw a wedding into the mix. We haven't been together that long."
