Gordon Ramsay "lying low"

Fiery chef Gordon Ramsay is "lying low" to avoid the attentions of fame a television career has brought him.

The Hell's Kitchen star is apparently disheartened by the constant "fuss" from eager fans.

"I am lying low at the moment," he admitted. "There is only so much fuss and attention I can take. TV is great for a while but it changes your life for a long time. People come and speak to you and they think they know you."

Ramsay has just finished shooting a US version of Hell's Kitchen, due for broadcast on the FOX network in February.
