Cilla Black pulled out of BBC comedy
Published Saturday, Dec 18 2004, 11:40 GMT | By Daniel Kilkelly

"The show wasn't me," she told The Mirror. "I wasn't happy having to criticise my peers in the business, talking about Dale and perma-tanned faces. Even during the recording I said: 'I'm not doing that.'"
Cilla makes her TV comeback tomorrow night on Living TV, for a show called Cilla Live, which will make dreams come for viewers.
She continued, "God, it's good to be back at work. I've waited a long time for the right project to come along. I love the idea behind this show. It will also be great to do live TV again."
