Gordon Ramsay bows out of Hell's Kitchen
Published Monday, Dec 20 2004, 14:43 GMT | By Daniel Saney

The highly-strung chef, currently lying low, frustrated by his celebrity status, will be replaced by Frenchman Jean-Christophe Novelli for the show's 2005 return.
He says that he will be steering clear of the show as he does not relish the prospect of training more celebrities to run restaurants. "I've never dealt with so much sh** in my life. I hated doing it," Ramsay explained.
A show source said: "It will be quite a different kind of show, but Jean-Christophe can be just as fiery in the kitchen because he is extremely passionate about food."
