The next season of The Real World will be set in the Lone Star state, it was confirmed today.

Filming for the new season, the show's sixteenth, will begin in Austin
early next month.

"They say everything is bigger and better in Texas, and 'The Real World' is no exception," said co-creator Jon Murray today. "Our Austin cast may be the best we've ever assembled, and I know they're going to feel right at home in this vibrant city."

The current season, Real World: Philadelphia, is one of MTV's highest-rated shows.
