Australian Idol judge Ian 'Dicko' Dickson is the latest celebrity to sign on as the face of weight loss programme Jenny Craig.
The 46-year-old said that he was staggered to learn how much he weighed.
"I knew I was carrying a little more than I should have but to find that I was 104 kilos was - literally - staggering," he said.
"I needed professional help. I simply did not know what to do to lose weight and I knew that if I didn't take control of it, I would be risking all sorts of life threatening diseases and cutting my own life short."
In 2003, Dickson sparked public outrage after criticising former Australian Idol Paulini Curuenavuli's weight live on national television, commenting: "You should choose more appropriate clothes or shed some pounds."
Meanwhile, current Jenny Craig spokeswoman, Kath & Kim actress Magda Szubanski, has lost more than 25 kilos since starting the diet regime earlier this year.
