Real-life Welsh village Llanddewi Brefi is the home of one of the show's characters, Daffyd - "the only gay in the village".
Two signs welcoming visitors to the village disappeared just before Christmas, while another vanished some time ago.
Shopkeeper Neil Driver commented, "There were quite a few people by the signs recently having their photos taken. But now the signs have vanished."
The village has also attracted many tourists, thanks to the success of the show, and Driver has seen sales of his souvenir T-shirts increase.
Little Britain won three awards at the British Comedy Awards.
