Bardsley insults 'Fit Club' contestants

Wife Swap star Lizzy Bardsley has launched an attack on her Celebrity Fit Club co-stars.

Bardsley, branded a "sponger" after appearing on Wife Swap, has accused fitness trainer Harvey Walden of hiding his love for her, and insulted Tory MP Ann Widdecombe, who has also tried to lose weight on the ITV1 fitness show.

She told The People, "I'm sure [Harvey] secretly loves me and it's a love hate relationship. But I'm a married woman and am not interested."

Turning her attentions to Ann, she said, "She is a pompous prat preaching about old news. She hasn't had eight kids and she still looks bigger than me.

"And I wouldn't have a hair cut like hers - the bowls in my house are used for putting fruit in not for cutting hair. Her dress sense is really frumpy. She looks like she has walked off the set of Miss Marple."

Lizzy has also expressed her dislike for Tina Baker, who is also a contestant.

She added, "She's a show-off and it's false. She is making a big thing that she fancies Harvey. He'd never go for her so she should get over it."
