Peter Andre: The Next Chapter performed well for ITV2 last night, beating Channel 4 and Five in the 9pm slot.
The second episode of the reality series, which follows Andre's bid for chart stardom, pulled in an impressive 1.28m (6%) during the hour, beating Channel 4's 1.21m (5.4%) for The Red Lion and the 840k (3.7%) for Five's Vice Squad.
Last week, the series made a strong start for ITV2, drawing 1.44m (6.7%). This is the second week running that the show was the most-watched programme on the multichannel stations.
Elsewhere at 9pm, The Bill put in 3.59m (15.8%) for ITV1, and BBC One's New Tricks logged 4.79m (21.2%).
Watchdog led the 8pm hour, averaging 4.11m (17.7%). Location, Location, Location and Megastructures: Built From Disaster trailed behind, putting in 2.01m (8.7%) and 594k (2.6%) for Channel 4 and Five respectively.
Over on BBC Two, a double bill of MasterChef: The Professionals interested 3.09m (13.4%) and 3.41m (14.8%) at 8pm and 8.45pm. Nevermind The Buzzcocks followed at 9.30pm, bringing in 2.35m (10.5%).
Overall, BBC One came top during primetime with an average share of 23.2% to ITV1's 21.4%. BBC Two was third with 10.1%, followed by Channel 4 with 6% (+1: 0.7%) and Five's 2.9%.
