"Only gay in the village" top catchphrase
Daffyd of Little Britain's "I'm the only gay in the village" has been voted top TV catchphrase.

The poll, conducted by UKTV Gold, asked almost 4,000 British viewers to name their favourite TV catchphrases of all time and Matt Lucas' character Daffyd's announcement came top.

Little Britain was also responsible for another of the top 20 entries with Vicky Pollard's confused "Yeah but...no but" in fifth place and David Walliams' transvestite's "I'm a lady" at 12th.

In second and third places were Tommy Cooper's "Just like that" and Homer Simpson's "Doh!".
