The 41-year-old, who also hosts The Newlywed Game for the broadcaster, will document her life as a working mother on Carnie Wilson: Unstapled - a play on words about the former Wilson Phillips singer's 1999 gastric-bypass surgery that was streamed online, The AP reports.
She said: "I've written two autobiographies and posed for Playboy. I think I've pretty much been out there. This is definitely the most exposed I've ever been."
Wilson added that her father Brian of The Beach Boys may make an appearance on the series, which will see her attempt to lose 50 pounds of baby weight from her recent pregnancy.
The show, currently in production, will also mark a departure for GSN, which primarily airs new episodes and reruns of classic television gameshows.
Carnie Wilson: Unstapled is scheduled to debut in January.
