According to USA Today, the girls are filming scenes today in an Atlantic City fire station for the new season, which has the tagline 'Interns'. The news comes just days after plans for the pair to become substitute teachers at a middle school in the city were dashed because of parent complaints.
"Generally, it's our policy not to comment on shows while in production," said a spokesman for Bunin-Murray Productions. "But I can tell you we've decided to proceed with other production plans for The Simple Life interns. We appreciate the support and interest of local school officials and wish everyone well."
The first two seasons of the show were filmed continuously over a month period; Simple Life 3, however, has been taping since late October, suggesting that the pair are filming disjointed episodes whenever their schedules allow.
