According to The Sun, the former Eternal singer has agreed to join the panel at the Manchester leg of the auditions.
Nigel Lythgoe and axed Strictly Come Dancing expert Arlene Phillips have already been confirmed as permanent panellists on the new programme. Meanwhile, Cat Deeley has been announced as host.
Redknapp launched a solo career after leaving Eternal in 1995. She has since worked as a model and TV presenter, fronting projects such as The Clothes Show and The Truth About Size Zero.
So You Think You Can Dance is being brought to the UK by the BBC following its success in the US, Australia and other territories. It is expected to air from January.
