Kerry Katona to appear on 'Benidorm'?

The Mirror claims that Katona is ready to sign a deal with the show's producers.
A source said: "They see Kerry as perfect to star in the show and she's told her reps to make it happen. Kerry knows it may only be a small part but she's hoping it could lead to bigger things, maybe becoming one of the main roles. Acting is something she's always wanted to do."
Katona, who once said that she can relate to the sitcom, is reportedly hoping that her appearance on the programme will help her to rebuild her image after she was allegedly filmed taking cocaine.
"She's been through a lot in the last 12 months and she thinks being an actress will be a new beginning for her," the insider said.
Katona is also reportedly hoping to appear on Celebrity Big Brother.
