Johns: 'I won't return to Footy Show'
Published Friday, Nov 6 2009, 01:26 GMT | By Rebecca Davies

The Aussie ex-sportsman hit the headlines earlier this year after a New Zealand woman revealed that a group sex incident with Johns and his Cronulla Sharks teammates in 2002 had led to significant emotional trauma.
Nine Network spokesperson David Hurley told The Daily Telegraph: "[The decision was Johns's] personal judgement and in no way reflected any professional animosity between him and Nine. Quite the reverse."
He added: "Matthew is held in high regard and the door remains open to him, as was the case always."
