The last season of the MTV show - seen by an estimated 40 million viewers worldwide - followed Diddy as he put together and managed hip hop group 'Da Band'. The new series, which is set to premiere March 3, will take much the same format. From the initial auditions, nineteen finalists have been chosen to live in a New York apartment and foght it out for a place in the group.
'Diddy' said today: "I take pride in being a starmaker and having had the chance to work with the biggest and most successful women in the music industry. But there is nothing like finding and nurturing new talent and watching their rise to fame."
