18-year-old Johnson said that his time on the reality music show had been "crazy".
After being voted off, Johnson said: "It's been the best thing that I've ever done in my life. I was playing restaurants and pubs to two or three people. Coming out here in front of like a million people is inncredible, it's just amazing."
Finalist Warner added: "Praise God. I was packing it before - I thought I was going home."
Next week's grand final will be held at the Sydney Opera House.
