McIntyre, Carr lead Comedy Award noms

The star's Comedy Roadshow is named in the 'Best Comedy Entertainment Programme' category. He has also been shortlisted for 'Best Comedy Entertainment Personality' and 'Best Live Stand-up Performer'.
Alan Carr follows with two nods for his Chatty Man series, which has been nominated for 'Best Comedy Entertainment Personality' and 'Best New British Television Comedy'. Harry Hill further nabbed two nominations for his TV Burp show.
Presenter Jonathan Ross, who was replaced by Angus Deayton for last year's ceremony, has been confirmed as the host for next month's awards show.
Ross recently admitted that he is "delighted" to be returning to the event.
The British Comedy Awards 2009 air on Saturday, December 12 on ITV1 and ITV2.
