The record producer, who is best known as "Dicko" on the show, said that although he has been told the reality series will be returning, he has not been invited back by Channel Ten.
Dicko told The Daily Telegraph: "They have said the show is coming back. I haven't been asked back but I don't know if any of the judges have. It doesn't bother me, I know Channel Ten will do what's right for them."
A spokesperson for the TV channel said: "We're just focused on Sunday's final."
The final of the show, featuring Stan Walker and Hayley Warner, takes place next week.
