Fans of long-running sci-fi series Star Trek have launched a campaign over producers' plans to change its name.
A new series is in development to replace Star Trek: Voyager this Spring, and could see Star Trek dropped from its title.
Scriptwriters told TeleText that the show needs "a fresh and different tone".
Fans of the series, however, have reacted angrily and have begun posting complaints on site Trekworld.com.
