Collins: 'Unknowns should host SNP'

Justin Lee Collins has said that Channel 4 should hire unknowns as the new hosts of the Sunday Night Project.

Collins and Alan Carr, who hosted eight series of the show, also claimed that they would like to see female presenters take over from them.

"I would have thought they would have gone for unknowns - new faces," Collins told DS. "You can imagine Mat Horne and James Corden would be perfect for it. But they're not going to do it and they have enough to do.

"It would be nice to see a girl or girls [do it]. We've have a lot of beef. We've been quite c**k heavy."

Carr joked: "There's been a lot of cock on the show. We could do with a little more p***y. I know personally that I would tune in if there was more p***y."

He added: "With us, we used to turn up and someone would say, 'You're going to be a pasty' or 'Alan, dress up as Rula Lenska'. I can't see many people around these days who will be willing to dress up like a d**k."
