Horne urges fans to enjoy 'Gavin & Stacey 3'

Mat Horne has encouraged fans to enjoy the final series of Stacey & Stacey instead of worrying about it coming to an end.

Speaking on This Morning, the 31-year-old actor said that viewers may ruin the series for themselves if they focus too much on its future.

When co-host Holly Willoughby remarked that she does not want the comedy series to end, he said: "I know, people keep saying this to me and it's not even started, you're going to ruin the next six weeks, you've just got to enjoy it."

He continued: "Don't you think it's a good thing though that it will be tied up nice and neatly? Because what we wouldn't want to do is drag it out and then start disappointing people - and we don't know that this one isn't going to do that yet!"

Horne added that series three will begin when Gavin starts a new job in Wales. He also revealed that several new characters - including Smithy's mum and Nessa's dad - will be introduced.

The final series of Gavin & Stacey begins tomorrow at 9pm on BBC One.
