Emma Cam and Jeremy Reading have been announced as the first winners of Beauty And The Geek Australia.
The pair, who beat Lisa McMahon and Corin Storkey to win the reality TV show that sees 'beauties' paired up with 'geeks', said that appearing on the series had given them a confidence boost.
Reading told The Daily Telegraph that he was now ready to find his first girlfriend, saying: "There’s no-one yet, but there is plenty of time."
His partner Cam added: "Sometimes you don't feel very smart and... you are scared of failing. But, since being on the show and trying new things it's proven to me you can do anything if you give it a go to begin with."
The 24-year-old aspiring actress said that she will save her half of the $100,000 (£55,000) prize money, while Reading said he will use his to pay for an overseas trip next year.
