Airdate unclear for Martha's 'Apprentice'

The new Apprentice spinoff starring Martha Stewart will air some time next season (2005-06) - but exactly when remains a mystery.
Current host Donald Trump has committed to two more cycles - a fourth and fifth season - which will play out somehow alongside Stewart's version.
NBC president Jeff Zucker has thufar refused to be drawn on the scheduling plans. "We do not intent to make that mistake on scheduling," he said. "We've announced that Donald will do two more cycles and that Martha will do a cycle. All those cycles will play out over the next sixteen months."
A network spokesman has since confirmed that Stewart's show will not air as summer programming, nor will either of Trump's editions be shifted from their anticipated September 2005 and January 2006 airdates.
Casting calls for the upcoming seasons got underway yesterday (Friday), with a total 29 cities being taken in over 28 days. As part of the application process, auditionees will now be asked which of the two billionaires they would prefer to work for.
Although Stewart is now part of the Apprentice family, Trump isn't ready to exit the boardroom just yet, declaring: "As long as I'm enjoying it, we'll keep doing it."
