Allsopp's 'Homemade Christmas' draws 2.7m

The programme, which followed Kirstie Allsopp as she decorated her cottage for the festive celebrations, drew 2.74m (11.8%) in the 8pm hour, with a further 257k (1.2%) watching on Channel 4+1.
Holby City won the hour for BBC One, taking 5.46m (23.6%), while ITV1's Coastline Cops appealed to 3.17m (13.7%). The third episode of A History Of Scotland put in 1.5m (6.5%) for BBC Two, and on Five, Sea Patrol UK managed 698k (3%).
At 9pm, continuing sci-fi drama Paradox rose 400k week-on-week to average 3.32m (14.5%) for BBC One. ITV1 was second in the hour, averaging 2.54m (11.1%) for Wild Swimming Adventure, a new two-part documentary series starring Robson Green.
BBC Two's Can Gerry Robinson Fix Dementia Care Homes? interested 2.06m (9%) and Channel 4's The F Word delivered 1.78m (7.8%). CSI: Miami took 2.01m (8.8%) for Five.
Russell Brand - Skinned, a special interview with the comedian over the Sachsgate scandal, had 1.13m (6.9%) for Channel 4 from 10pm. Five's CSI: NY drew 1.32m (7.6%).
Overall, BBC Two led primetime with an average share of 22% to ITV1's disappointing 14.7%. Channel 4 was third with 7.8% (+1: 0.8%), followed by BBC Two with 6.6% and Five with 5.2%.
