Moss, a Los Angeles native, has appeared as Jackson in numerous stage, TV and film productions, including Scary Movie 3 and Nip/Tuck.
The trial re-enactments are a co-production between E! Television in the US and Sky in the UK. Half-hour episodes will air each weekday on both Sky News and Sky One, and on E! globally except in the UK.
"We are delighted that Edward Moss has agreed to read Michael Jackson's words," said Simon Bucks, Sky's Associate Editor. "As well as having a striking resemblance to Michael Jackson, Edward also has the acting ability to accurately portray him on a daily basis for Sky News and Sky One."
The Michael Jackson Trial kicks off after jury selection in the case ends.
