4.6m watch 'Fattest Man In Britain'

The Fattest Man In Britain performed well for ITV1 on Sunday night, the latest viewing figures show.

The one-off comedy drama, which starred Timothy Spall and Bobby Ball, pulled in 4.57m (19.4%) between 9pm and 11pm, but was beaten by a new episode of BBC One's acclaimed drama Cranford, seen by 6.5m (26%) between 9pm and 10.30pm.

BBC One also beat ITV1 during the 8pm hour, drawing 6.02m (22.2%) with Antiques RoadshowAd Of The Decade, which had 4.53m (16.7%).

Over on BBC Two, Top Gear grabbed 5.63m (20.8%) at 8pm, then the audience dropped to 2.26m (8.8%) during the 9pm screening of Oz and Hugh Drink to Christmas. Have I Got News For You followed at 10pm, bringing in 2.27m (9.7%).

Nicholas Cage movie The Family Man averaged 1.43m (5.5%) for Channel 4 between 8pm and 10.20pm, then a repeat of Father Ted's Christmas special managed 910k (5.2%) between 10.20pm and 11.30pm.

Christmas With The Kranks grabbed 1.38m (5.3%) for Five between 7pm and 9pm, then 1.48m (6.2%) watched Dirty Dancing in the following two hours.

Overall, BBC One came top during primetime with an average share of 22.2% to ITV1's 18.2%. BBC Two was third with 14.7%, followed by Channel 4 with 5.9% (+1: 0.8%) and Five's 5.7%.

Elsewhere, Sky1's Got To Dance preview show mustered 276k (1.1%) during the 8pm hour, while BBC Three's 9pm screening of the latest Move Like Michael Jackson had an impressive 758k (3.1%) at 9pm.
