Helen Fospero has confirmed that she is leaving the BBC regional news programme for East Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, Look North.
"Juggling a baby and a husband, who works in London, has become too difficult. It is with great regret that I have decided to leave the programme," said Fospero on Friday. "I have made some wonderful new friends in my time in Hull and had a marvellous time - but, as always, family must come first."
