Jamie Oliver has admitted that he came close to quitting his latest TV show, Jamie's School Dinners.
The chef was involved in constant rows with Nora Sands, who was the chief cook at one of the schools he worked at.
He told The People, "I thought, 'Why am I bothering?' She made my life a ****ing nightmare."
Nora begged for council bosses to get rid of Oliver when he failed to offer food that appealed to children.
"I didn't want him," she admitted. "He drove us mad."
