Tana Ramsay 'to be Gordon's co-host'

Channel 4 bosses are reportedly planning to offer a prominent role to Gordon Ramsay's wife Tana on the chef's next TV project.

It has been alleged that the pair could team up for a new cookery and lifestyle programme in the spring, which would see them working together as co-hosts.

Gordon is thought to be entering the third year of a four-year "golden handcuffs" deal with the broadcaster. However, his most recent series of The F Word struggled in the ratings, leaving the show's future uncertain.

A source told the Daily Star: "Tana is going to see her profile get a huge boost by being in Dancing On Ice. She'll soon become a name in her own right.

"In the past Tana has appeared on shows with Gordon and even had her own cookbooks, but she has never really escaped his shadow. This new idea would see the pair of them as equals on screen - something that has got Channel 4 executives very excited."

Tana was voted through the first round of Dancing On Ice last night.
