'Australian Idol' winner facing axe
Australian Idol winner Casey Donovan is in danger of being axed by her record label, according to the Herald Sun.

The 17-year-old won the popular talent show last November but has since enjoyed restricted chart success.

Her second single 'What's Going On' entered the charts down under at number 18 this week after selling just 2,951 copies. Her debut album, meanwhile, is about to drop out of the top 100 after eleven weeks on the chart. The record has managed sales of 70,000 - compared to the 400,000 shifted by the first season champ Guy Sebastian.

Meanwhile, the show's runner-up Anthony Callea has managed more than 300,000 sales of his debut single - the highest-selling ever by an Aussie artist.
