New 'Doctor Who' leaked onto internet
Published Monday, Mar 7 2005, 22:44 GMT | By Neil Wilkes

The 45-minute episode, titled 'Rose,' was made available for download on several torrent sites late yesterday. Rose is the name of the Doctor's new assistant, played by Billie Piper.
The revived show, which features Christopher Eccleston in the lead role, is expected to air on BBC One later this month.
The BBC tonight told Digital Spy that it was attempting to track down the source of the leaked episode. "This is a significant breach of copyright which is currently under investigation," said a spokesperson. "The source of it appears to be connected to our co-production partner.
"We would urge viewers not to spoil their enjoyment and to wait for the finished version which airs at the end of the month on BBC One."
The news comes just weeks after the publication of a report identifying the UK as the biggest downloader of pirated web TV shows.
