Des Lynam and Sir David Frost are to team up to host a new sports show for Sky One this summer, according to Broadcast.
The World’s Greatest Sporting Legend, which is expected to air over eight weeks from June, will aim to find a shortlist of the ten greatest sporting individuals ever. Each week an expert panel will argue who should be included.
Once the finalists are decided, the shortlist will be put to a public vote to crown the ultimate sporting legend.
"I'm amazed nobody has thought of this idea before," said Lynam. "I’ve already started a row amongst my friends in the pub about who should be in it, never mind win it."
The new series is Lynam's first TV project since quitting ITV a year ago.
