Following his speculation that Patrick Kielty will not be seen on BBC screens again, Fame Academy headmaster Richard Park has urged the corporation's executives to fire Kielty.
The show's "nasty" judge has spoken of his desire for a "top-class presenter" to host the series in place of Kielty.
"There are plenty of good hosts out there who would love to front that show," he told the Sunday Mirror. "I'm not alone in finding Patrick annoying. He just keeps saying the same things on the show over and over again like 'Come here fella' and that's irritating."
Speaking to The People, he added, "We don't need Patrick. I've had it up to here with the bloke. Every night he goes out on live TV he advertises the fact he has no talent. There's no place for him on TV."
Park has also extended his criticism to his fellow judges, opera star Lesley Garrett and choreographer Craig Revel Horwood.
"Lesley has no idea how these pop songs are supposed to sound and Craig's only fit for panto," he complained.
DJ Edith Bowman was announced as the winner of Comic Relief Does Fame Academy on Friday night.
