'Think You Can Dance' climbs to 5.8m

So You Think You Can Dance continued to perform well for BBC One on Saturday night, the latest viewing figures show.

The live show, which aired during the 7pm hour, logged 5.81m (25.2%), beating last week's 5.59m (23.9%). The results show followed at 8.50pm, bringing in 5.38m (22.2%).

Also on BBC One, The National Lottery: In It To Win It and Casualty put in 6.32m (26.7%) and 5.88m (24.4%) at 8pm and 9.20pm respectively.

Newsnight at 30 and QI XL put in 1.08m (4.5%) and 2.07m (6.4%) for BBC Two at 8pm and 9pm, then 900k (4.1%) watched Heroes at 9.45pm.

ITV1's Take Me Out grabbed 4.61m (19.4%) during the 8pm hour, then the audience dipped to 4.44m (18.3%) during All Star Mr & Mrs, which aired at 9pm.

A double bill of Kevin McCloud: Slumming It repeats took 900k (3.9%) and 1.36m (5.7%) for Channel 4 at 7pm and 8pm, then 2.07m (8.5%) tuned in for Celebrity Big Brother at 9pm.

Five's reruns of NCIS grabbed 1.1m (4.7%) and 1.51m (6.3%) at 7.20pm and 8.15pm, then CSI drew 1.18m (4.9%) at 9.10pm.

Overall, BBC One came top during primetime with an average share of 23.6% compared to ITV1's 18.5%. Channel 4 was third with 6.6% (+1: 0.9%), followed by Five's 6.1% and BBC Two with 5.6%.
